School Introduction

City, University of London, located in the heart of London, has over 120 years of teaching and research history, founded in 1894. The university has several campuses in London, with the main campus situated in Northampton Square, Islington. The Department of Journalism at City University is particularly renowned in the UK, ranked second in the UK in the QS Journalism and Media Studies category. The Cass Business School is also world-renowned, with its programs in Finance, Actuarial Science, and Real Estate ranking number one in various global rankings. Due to intense competition, the admission rate is extremely low, making it one of the hardest business schools to get into in the UK.

City University London has eight academic schools: the Cass Business School, School of Arts and Social Sciences, School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, School of Health Sciences, School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Informatics, School of Law, and the School of Social Sciences. The MBA program ranks 41st in the world and 7th in the UK. The MSc in Finance ranks 15th in the world and 4th in the UK.
