    The University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney) is located in Sydney, the capital city of New South Wales, Australia. It is a world-renowned top research university and is a member of several prestigious global research university alliances, including the Pacific Rim University Alliance (APRU), the Global Alliance of Technological Universities, Universities 21, and the Group of Eight (Go8). Located in the financial, trade, and tourism center of the Southern Hemisphere, Sydney, UNSW is renowned for its Faculty of Engineering, which is the largest in Australia. Its engineering program is the most famous, most applied to, and most competitive. In addition, among its many programs and degrees, the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering is particularly notable.
