The University of Amsterdam is a research-oriented comprehensive university with a rich academic history. Today, the University of Amsterdam has more than 23,000 students, 5,000 staff, and encompasses seven faculties, including Economics, Dentistry, Humanities, Law, Medical Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. The University of Amsterdam has always had a strong international orientation and encourages international collaboration. As a result, the University currently hosts over 2,500 international students and researchers from more than 100 countries, with partner universities all over the world.

The University of Amsterdam offers undergraduate and graduate programs in over 60 different fields of study. There are more than 85 international master's programs taught entirely in English, making the university one of the largest and most diverse international education institutions on the European continent. Our students come from all over the world, with diverse academic and cultural backgrounds, and this provides a platform for the exchange of international knowledge and insights.
