Step 1: Fill out Applicant Information
Click the "Pre-Application" button above to begin the application process. After completing it, you will receive an email inviting you to fill out the formal application form. In addition to the documents below, you will also need to upload a recent photo of the student, Canadian proof of identity (such as a birth certificate, passport, or study visa copy), and a baptism certificate or letter of verification from your parish.
Step 2: Provide Academic Documents
Please scan and upload the applicant’s final transcripts for the last two years and the most recent transcript for the current year.
Applicants for grades 11 or 12 must also upload a copy of the Ontario Student Transcript and Credit Counselling Summary.
Step 3: Submit Application Fee
An application fee must be paid and is non-refundable:
Canadian residents: $125
International students: $250
Step 4: Student Recommendation
Please ensure the “Confidential Student Profile” is sent to the applicant's current school, where the principal, counselor, or teacher will complete it and return it directly to the HNMCS Admissions Office.
Step 5: In-School Admission Test
All applicants for grades 5 through 12 must take our in-school admission test, which will assess the applicant’s math, reading comprehension, and English skills. No special preparation is required for this test.

Step 6: Submit All Documents
A complete application must be submitted by November 30 to ensure you receive a response by mid-February. Late applications will be reviewed and notified of results after the March spring break.
Step 7: Interview
Once we receive all required documents, the Admissions Office will contact the family to arrange a one-on-one interview with the applicant, usually conducted in January.
Admission notices will be sent at the end of February.
