Queen Mary University of London, founded in 1885, is one of the larger colleges within the University of London system. It is one of the few universities in Central London with a large campus environment, and it has four campuses, all easily accessible by the London Underground. The largest campus is located in the East End of London, with most courses being taught at the Mile End campus.
Queen Mary is renowned for its programs in Medicine, Dentistry, Law, and Finance & Accounting, with the Law and Finance & Accounting faculties being particularly popular among Taiwanese students. The university is a member of the Russell Group, which is a research university alliance that includes top institutions like Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial College London.
With over 200 degree programs, Queen Mary University of London ranked 11th in the UK for research quality in the 2018 Research Excellence Framework, and 13th in the Times Higher Education rankings. Its global rankings are typically within the top 90, with particularly strong performances in Law, Finance, Multimedia, and Computer Science.
