    University of Minnesota--Twin Cities (abbreviated as UNM) is located in the Twin Cities region of Minnesota, USA, which consists of the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The university has two main campuses: one spans the Mississippi River, just minutes from downtown Minneapolis, while the other is situated in the hills of St. Paul. UNM not only provides an excellent environment for teaching and research, but also serves as a cultural and artistic hub. The university boasts Minnesota's best museums and art galleries, and students can enjoy fine music and theater performances, as well as lectures by prominent public figures and politicians. The Twin Cities region is a commercial center of the upper Midwest, with thriving industries in finance, manufacturing, healthcare, food processing, and transportation, home to numerous multinational corporations.
