    Seattle Central College is a pioneer in higher education, with 10,000 students, including 2,000 international students. The school was founded in 1966 and is the only community college in downtown Seattle. Seattle Central College offers a wide variety of functional courses, including: university transfer programs (two-year associate degrees), short-term certificates, high school completion programs, bachelor's degree programs, and professional and technical degrees and certificates.
