    Marshall University, founded in 1837, was named after John Marshall, the fourth Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. With nearly 180 years of history, the university has grown into a leading public institution, offering innovative undergraduate and graduate education across 10 colleges and 200 fields of study.

    Marshall University provides over 50 undergraduate programs and 59 graduate and doctoral degrees, including Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Pharmacy, and Doctor of Physical Therapy. The International Program Center helps international students adapt to life and learning in the U.S., offering courses ranging from immigration and administration to social and cultural topics. Popular services include "International Tables" for cultural exchange and various international student organizations. The annual International Festival is one of the university's most celebrated events, allowing students to proudly share their culture with new friends and the Huntington community.
