    McMaster University, located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, is a world-renowned top-tier university. Hamilton is a scenic city at the western end of Lake Ontario, known as a major port and a popular tourist destination in Canada. The city is just an hour's drive from Toronto, Niagara Falls, and Buffalo, New York. Hamilton is also known as the "City of Waterfalls," with over 120 waterfalls scattered throughout the city.

    McMaster University has six faculties: the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Social Sciences, and the DeGroote School of Business. The university has consistently ranked among the top five universities in Canada and is ranked 65th globally in the Times Higher Education Supplement world university rankings, and 4th in Canada.

    The university boasts world-class laboratories and advanced facilities and is one of the few universities in North America to own its own nuclear reactor. Its Faculty of Medicine even houses parts of Albert Einstein's brain. The DeGroote School of Business is among the top 100 business schools in the world, with its MBA program highly regarded across North America. According to the Financial Times, McMaster's business school has consistently ranked among the top 100 global MBA programs, with no other Canadian school quite matching its prestige.

    The Faculty of Engineering offers thirteen undergraduate programs, all of which have Co-op opportunities, allowing students to gain paid work experience. Co-op students can complete internships during the summer and for 8-16 months after their third year, with salaries provided by both the government and the partnering companies.
